Born in pref. Aomori on December, 1927. He had been studying Budo for over 57
years. He started studying in Aikido as a direct student of Morihei UESHIBA and
entered the Aikikai Hombu Dojo at the end of 1951. He practiced judo (6th dan),
karate (Jinen-ryu 5th dan), iaido (7th dan), and jodo prior to beginning in
aikido. He began to instruct Aikido in 1955 with broad experience in other
martial arts. He has developed a new style of Iaido (Nishio-ryu Iai) with forms
based upon Aikido techniques.
He has taught Budo constantly in northern
Europe, France, Germany, U.S., and other countries for over 20 years.
He
passed away at 15th March, 2005 (He was 77th age).
